No fewer than 200 people on Sunday came to pick their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) at the Enugu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) official at the LGA, Mr. John Isong said that the commission had been witnessing large crowd since morning. The INEC official expressed dissatisfaction that in spite of intensive sensitisation on the PVCs, people never cared to come and collect theirs until this last hour. One of the eligible voters who came to collect his PVC, Mr Stanley Onah said that he had been there since 8 a.m. struggling to pick his PVC. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the PVCs were being distributed among the 10 wards in the council area.
